How long the official told you the certificate will take to be mailed?

2 to 4 weeks

Add to that 6-8 weeks for the passport, this becomes too much wait.

Can you take the oath in a Canadian embassy over seas..... Legally these are Canadian soil? Just said I'd throw it out there.

At this time, there is no such provision for citizenship grant applicants applying under 5(1), which would be most of us.

My husband had decision made July 20 and still no oath invitation either. It's been over 6 weeks now.

Hi All,

After completing my Oath last Wednesday Sep 1st 2021 could see that the status has been updated as Completed in the tracker as well as Ecas status.
Does this status appear after the Citizenship certificate has been dispatched ?

All the processes is completed on May 04, 2021 except citizenship oath according the new tracker. Still no email or status update for Citizenship Oath. Any thoughts, why is it taking so long. My office is Mississauga.

Looking at the tracker I dont see any oath for Mississauga applicants.

This morning , my tracker showed an update with everything changed to "Completed" except Citizenship Ceremony
