I heard someone say that the current processing time is around 70 days (I could be wrong). You might want to check PR renewal thread to talk to people who have applied for PR card renewal recently.

I don't think you will get an interview then. Chances are that it will be DM and oath directly. As per my understanding, interviews are scheduled mostly within 2 weeks of test section update online.

I tested on 26th April. And still nothing. Iv looked at application forums from Jan 2019, August 2019. And there's lots waiting for Decision Made.

I am also waiting for my test invite but I decided to also apply for my PR card renewed as I will be traveling in August. Does anybody here have applied for a PR renewed too? It says they received my application 3 weeks ago but I did not receive any communication whatsoever about my PR card. I am a but worried I might not get it by August!

My PR was expiring on May 11th..i applied first week of April, came through just 2 days before May 11th... so my personal experience is 35 days processing time

This is fast! I applied on 5/10/2021, mine expires mid-August. Hopefully I will get it by then.

Same here. Test done April 20th. Background done Feb 2021. Nothing after and still waiting

Hey guys, my Indian passport is expiring this month, and my citizenship application is still in progress (applied Jan 2020). Can this cause any issues? Should I get it renewed even though I don't plan on traveling anytime soon?

The expiring Indian passport shouldn't cause any issues to your citizenship application.

My indian passport expired in march 2021. Yesterday my interview done. Officer saw my expired passport and didn't say anything.. she said you passed ..wait for oath invitation
