Applicant used an old application form from June 2019 instead of using Dec 2019 form and it got rejected as one of sub-question under question 16 was added in new form which old form didn't had

This does not make any sense as their website allows to use any version dated october 2017 or later. I believe that guy on FB has an issue with his hard copy, one of the subquestion 16 did not print out on his hard copy.By the way 06-2019 and 12-2019 have the same subquestion 16.

I noticed when I print the application too. I had to check the each page of the pdf file bottom most and top most part align with the print.

check the status on this link and update the receive date on. This may be received on February. if its a February good new for feb applicants, they were waiting for few weeks no update.

This comes to no surprise that they found another way to reject an application.
I was originally on Oct2019 submission. Resent on Jan 2020. (was told to resend just by updating the changes).

I know my application used a June 2019 form. and now I'm here after 11 months with no AOR.
The only good sign --> I have a stamp on the previously rejected app indicating that they received my app on Oct 2019.

Call customer service and ask them to check your status

My file has now gone from "application recieved" to "in progress" as of 2nd September 2020 . Has anyone else recieved an update? Although i didn't get an email this time, I just happened to check the CIC website today.

Looks like things may be moving, I just got a status update 2 days ago. Best to phone customer service.

Give one more week, if not call the agents to check the status. Still feel they are working on last week of January as well.
