Someone in Facebook group just got AOR who submitted his application in late January so they are going back and fourth

I called again asking about my situation and got the same reply to wait, but no answer on how long...
Same response - they entered my information in the system but the officer hadn’t started looking at it yet, hence no file number /AOR.
I asked why some people in February started receiving AOR, whether there’s a certain sequence - she said there’s a sequence, but applications are assigned to different officers (she mentioned some might be on vacation etc..).
I asked whether there’s still a chance that it might be returned for some reason, and she said that yes, until file number is created, there’s a chance

when you resubmit your returned application, does the same office work on that file again?
I am saying that because when they returned my application, I can see a application no and lot of
other details written on top of that.

I thought they create an application number only after the app is deemed complete... Is the address and other details same as where we ship our citizenship application?

Sorry your application was returned. Did they mention why it is returned?

Few members mentioned that they got added to earlier queue but not for some. So it depends on the person who logs it during the second time. is it returned for you even after your record is in prestage of AOR?

my application information was correct, it was returned due to IELTS academic paper.
Perhaps that is why they have already given application no as there is no missing information in the application form.

first I have submitted on Oct 2019, they returned on Jan12, 2020, resent the app with correction.

as there is no AOR look like they will give me direct citizenship

Sorry to hear that but glad that they created the app number. Yea IRCC accepts only IELTS General and not acedemic.

when I llok at Oct 2019 applicant feel meow...they are witing for oath ceremony and I am here still fighting with AOR. lul

I know.. imagine the wait time for us with all the delays and backlog that has been generated already and keeps being generated every day. I might be a pessimist (and I hope I’m wrong) but I feel like we are looking at 2-3 years of processing now

I submitted my M.Sc. medium of instruction certificate which state my program in English.
As they have created APP no, I hope this time they will speed up. But look like this is not the case as I still don't have AOR.

Oct 2019- returned it on jan 24 and still no AOR.

You mean, you are going to resubmit with MSc documents?
