On May 6th Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) responded to me as below: "~..., rest assured that this situation is normal since the responsible office is currently processing applications received before January 14, 2020."

I got the same reply in April

I'm one of those who sent the docs in the second half of January (Jan 17th) and still haven't received anything, even AOR.

Would be helpful to understand if there's an ETA for restarting applications processing...

If you have got your AOR, the time clock (currently 12 months) for your case has started. Relax for now, your case will be prioritized.

Their estimated 12 months processing time starts from the day the application is received, not when the AOR is received.

I phoned IRCC twice in April and June and they have stopped processing Citizenship Applications since 14 January 2020. Who cN we ask for help to speed up the process?
