Physical Presence, Language and Prohibitions completed on Oct 7. Ottawa Location. However, the ECAS still shows 'In process'. Is that common?

Sent passport scans on 26 June 2021, and still no reply. Im nearly 21 months since I sent application. Its a waiting game.

They will send you a PDF in the oath invite. If you choose to sign electronically, you will sign it using the electronic signature you created in Adobe Acrobat / Reader after the ceremony and email them the signed PDF. They don't have to witness you signing the form.

All Language, Physical and Prohibition all completed. My daughter only had Prohibition completed both by Sep 1st. I now have an interview on the 14th of Sep.

This Ottawa office has to be the slowest of them all? I just completed my test last night I guess I shouldn't expect them to make the other updates in my profile until the new year based on your experience. did they request passport scans or had an interview with you?

So exactly 1 week before oath

According to the cic tracker, my language skills, physical presence, prohibition, background verification, test have all been completed by Sept 2nd. What is the next update I should be expecting? And any rough timeline?

My current passport has expired and I'm debating if i should renew it or wait for the ceremony and apply for Canadian passport after that.

No passport scans, no interview. But you're right. I do not expect another update on my application this year.

Finally received Oath Invite email today, Oct 13. Oath taking date on Oct 20! Thank God, finally almost at the finished line!
