So true, anything can happen with them, and at the end of the day all we have left is "HOPE"

Well as the name suggests, you'll take the oath of citizenship. You'll also sign the confirmation of oath form and send it back to IRCC. This is done via Zoom and yes, you'll need a webcam.

And also you will need to destroy your permanent card, so they ask you to have scissors at the ceremony. My friend, who has already taken the oath, said that this was the funny part )

Well, you'll have to unceremoniously and sacrilegiously cut the PR card in front of the camera (while IRCC officials are watching) after you are done with oath

Rough! I love my card, its so pretty. But I guess my passport will be prettier.

Make sure you buy a UV flashlight once you get a passport. The real beauty of the Canadian passport can only been seen in UV light!

Yesterday I passed my test , but just before I click submit I received an email that caused the test to prompt me to close the other window. It took me a couple of seconds to click I'm back. Is that fine?
Does anyone have a previous experience with this please?

If it was only for a second or two, you shouldn't have any issues IMO.
