With all respect , just drive through the border with your own car please, don’t fly to Buffalo and get taxi/ shuttled through. CBC news is after people who are doing this , the journalists whine on CBC daily hope the government to shut down this so called “loop hole”. Let’s not give them more excuses. In fact I’ll need to drive back to Toronto from LA this summer too.

Lol so you don't want to me exploit the loophole so you can exploit it later? Sounds reasonable.

It looks like (from the spreadsheet) it can take anywhere from a couple days to a month to get decision made on your file.

I did and it was awesome. It may seem that their questions are harder than the other resources, but every question has it's reference the book. That said, you only need the to study the book well to pass.

I received FP request from the Vancouver office. I did it at a private agency (RCMP Accredited). Does the finger print result we receive from RCMP mention the Citizenship Application# on it?

I didn't get a confirmation of validation, but called them after 2 weeks and they said everything is ok. I've seen others get a new line on ecas, but not in my case.

My husband read the book once really well and then did many many practice tests, and he got 20/20 on his actual test. It will depend on how well you retain the information. But the practice tests were what was most helpful because when you got a wrong answer it shows you what the answer is and that helps with remembering the information. If you google "practice citizenship tests" you'll find many options.

Really depends on your ability to study. People can do it in 1 go and others in 3.
