I see people have got test invites and some also have decision made in this thread. I have not received any update since AOR on March 5,2020. ECAS shows that they started processing my application on Aug 24,2020 but no update since then.
The cic website says that they are processing applications between March 31 and April 6,2019. I am wondering if they are even working on 2020 applications.

I think there is only two offices that actually process Citizenship applications in GTA, Mississauga and Scarborough.

Thanks man. Had called CIC and the agent informed me that my background checks are complete and my file was transferred to the local office, who should sent me the test invitation next. I did not know that the knowledge tests are managed by the local offices.

things are moving I got my invitation for the test on the 17th and I took it on the 21st. 19/20 in 6 minutes.
do you have any idea of the timeframe of the next step

I have same timeline and I haven’t heard from them yet..

Thanks for the reply. So the only way is to call CIC and ask them if they have received the finger print ?

Yeah, wait for a month at least before calling because RCMP will take about 2 weeks to process it and they will take 2 more weeks to deliver the results to IRCC.

I have a similar timing! Next they may or may not schedule an interview. If not then we should see a "decision made" in ECAS in about a month (according to the tracker data).

All the invitations seem to be going to FB people, and nobody on the forum here.
Or maybe the people on the forum are not updating us.

Could you please guide for test questions distribution from chapter wise ? Are they focusing on some important chapters for questions or equally distribution of questions from each chapters? 2nd thing is there any date years or name of person type of questions? Which one is most important chapters ? Hope u guide us so that we can study the book with confidence. Regards

I think most people who applied in Jan 2020 are the same. Mine has been in process since Sept 2020.

Nope, I'm not on any FB groups myself.
I'm talking based on inputs from a lot of group members that FB group guys are getting test invites.

the questions are from all the chapters of the book what helps is to proceed by elimination because sometimes the choices are really obvious. did you receive your invitation? good luck !!

I called them on Thursday and they confirmed that my test result has been validated. However, the bad news is that my residence and language assessments are still "not started"... They used to complete all checks before sending out test invites but now it seems that's no longer the case. I guess it will be another long wait to DM, at least for me. Probably you should call to check your detailed status too.
