The consensus around here is that what you received is not the AOR2, it's the transfer notification. AOR2 is when the VO itself emails you to confirm it has now received your application. Ideally you receive this email, but as we have seen, a lot of VOs neglect to send it for whatever reason. In that case, people usually go by line 2 on eCAS (i.e. whenever it says "we started working on your application" in the PA side) as essentially AOR2.
Good day all, Please i need idea on my situation, I am applying as married but my wife is in the uk applying for indefinite leave to remain since 2013. I am including her as an un-accompanying spouse . I want to know if her overstaying in the uk and have been applying for indefinite leave to remain with her appealing and presently applying again. will it be a problem to my express entry application? lastly she is presently pregnant and also reason for not going with me
I would suggest you start a new thread for your question in the main forum. It's a highly specific situation, and I imagine you'll have a better chance of getting useful information if you post there instead of here on the monthly threads where it will get buried quickly. Good luck to you!
Hello guys, hope all of you and members of your family are well. Just got email that our application is forwarded to visa office in (*****) for further processing.
What this means?? They forwarded file to another country, not the country where PA live. Can someone explain to me in layman's terms?
Thank you

Yes when they decided the sponsor is eligible for this application, your case will be transferred to a Local Visa office to further process your case. In some cases they send your case to another country. eg. They tend to send Middle eastern applicants to London Visa Office.
Guys, is it odd that on the PAs ECAS it shows this:
1. We received your application...
2. We sent you medical instructions...
3. Medical results have been received.
On GCKey is says we passed medical and background check is going on. We also got the transfer email. Is what is shown on ECAS a concern or something as it doesn't say they started working in our application.
Recently most of applicants from India get transferred to CPC-Mississauga, probably just because NDVO is swamped. Applicants from visa exempt countries, or applicants who are residing in Canada usually can be transferred to CPC-M as well.

AOR2 email starts with "This confirms that your application for permanent residence in Canada has been received by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) on 2018/05/07."
Lots of VO no longer sending AOR2 emails these days, so don't be surprised if they stay quiet for 2 month.
