Good afternoon everyone! I have a question my friend is 19 yrs old and got married to a Canadian PR card holder. She is residing in Canada and have student visa. So my question is - can she apply for PR card now ? And if so, what type of application will she be needed to fill out ?
To anyone who may have medical issues such as myself I thought I would give some advisement to know what to bring to the immigration medical exam. I have an appointment in my husband's city on April 1. I'm driving the 2-2.5 hours there as the place is advertised as highly rated and taking care of everything there. I called many times to clarify what I need to bring, as well as looking at past posts on here. If you had any surgery's you need to bring the operative reports, any recent procedures you need to bring the results, medication list printed from pharmacy for the past 2 months, and lab work and imaging for the past 3 years especially for a chronic medical condition.
Everyone please add you biometric request dates so we can get a better idea of how long it take to get one after the application has been received! Thank you to whomever added it to the tracker!
Same here. Got one today that it was trabsferred to cpc mississauga. I wonder if they will still transfer the application to VO where the applicants is(which is in manila btw)

They could apply for spousal sponsorship (provided they are in a legit relationship and they can prove it) either Outland or Inland. Each of these options have their pros and cons, make sure they read all of the information provided on CIC website to make a decision. The website is super thorough:
CIC excerpt:
Apply under the Family Class if:
the person you want to sponsor lives outside Canada
the person you want to sponsor currently lives with you in Canada but doesn’t plan to stay in Canada while the application is being processed
you plan to appeal if the application is refused
you’re sponsoring your conjugal partner or dependent child
Apply under the Spouse or Common-Law Partner in Canada Class if your spouse or common-law partner:
lives with you in Canada
has valid immigration status in Canada
would like to apply for, and qualifies for, an Open Work Permit so that they can work while the application is being processed
