line 149 - got test invite for 23rd Oct
Hey Friends,
Any update for GTA applicant? I am DM since last 3 months but not improvement. Pls share some experience.
You dont need a valid PR card to enter via car, you can use your COPR to enter. I drove one of my friends who had lost his PR card. Also I am in same situation as you and will be doing same in November
Thank you. Is COPR the confirmation of the permanent resident status?
Got test invite today!
It is scheduled for October 23rd.
Thanks

Don't panic, you are still within the 12 months processing time. You should only get worried if you don't hear from IRCC after January 2019. For now, you are fine

Hey all. I had my Citizenship test and interview today. I was pleasantly surprised by the interview process as the interviewer did not seem concerned at all that I had been traveling all over the world for work etc. Reading this forum, it sounded like those having south Asian passports might be exposed to a tough interview. Or may be I was just lucky? I was expecting some probing questions but it went all very smoothly. He told me that he as no concerns and that the interview will be scheduled before January 30th.
For reference:
- Application received : January 9, 2018.
- AOR: February 14, 2018.
- Started processing March 14, 2018.
- FP Request: April 17, 2018.
- Test on October 4, 2018

Now the long wait for DM and then Oath

Lets see if it happens or they suddenly want more information.
Thank you. Is COPR the confirmation of the permanent resident status?
yes. This didnt even ask to see mine. The PR Card, Health Card and DL was ok
Hey guys,
So I had my test and interview on October 4th,
Today found my status to be "Decision Made".
Hoping this means all is well and just wait for an oath letter?
Good luck to everyone else

Hi guys, I had my test on October 6 in Mississauga office (The test invite was sent on September 19), if you could please update.
The test is very easy, for those who are worried, don't be. But the interview was a nightmare for me personally - I'm not going to go into details but it was quite something. For those who've already passed the interview, could you please let me know if at this stage they could request additional documents and deny your citizenship application? I was told I should start collecting every single flight ticket/boarding pass for every trip I took in the past few years....I wasn't told where to send it or anything else.....Anybody else has had a similar experience?
