Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
Is Secretary job with NOC 1241 under 38 occupations list? I want to apply under FSW category, but not sure. From the list of 38 occupations and NOC list it is not clear. Senior members, plz guide.

There are other routes via FSW, you can read about them at this link http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/index.asp. There
is also an online eligibility tool to make the process a little easier. If none of these are appropriate there is also things like PNP to consider.
Unfortunately, your skills would probably need to be on the occupations under pressure list for the relevant province. These tend to vary and
I'm not sure what they all are but you should be able to find them online somewhere.

Hope you can find something that works for you.

Hi zednought,

Thanks for your prompt reply. But I have read here in this forum a quote from one member namely, UAE that he/she had applied for FSW under Secretary occupation and its lawyer was assuring that the occupation is in the 38 occupation list and received AOR on November 30, 2008. If the occupation of Secretary had not been on the 38 occupations list he/she would have not got AOR and the application would have been straightaway rejected and refund sent by the respective CHC. Isn't it? Plz clarify, if I am in the wrong.

Thanks and regards,

Cheers
