I have seen conversations where people are asking where to put the marriage lisence ?
I want to know is it compulsory to submit a copy of marriage license ??? Is the marraige certificate not enough ??
:'(
I'm pretty sure it's just a matter of wording and how the document is called where you're from. For example, our document is called "Marriage License and Certificate". In some places, you need to get a marriage license in order to get married and afterwards you get a marriage certificate. You know what I mean? What you need to provide is the document that proves that you're married

You just need the marriage certificate. I submitted the marriage license because I was confused I thought it was the same thing. Later I received an email from the embassy that has my case asking for the marriage certificate, a marriage license is not valid for immigration purposes.
