Is anybody else stuck on "In Progress" for Study Permit Application? BVL received without an OPR letter

Hey everyone,

I wanted to reach out and see if anyone else has been experiencing delays with their study permit application through the SDS stream. I applied on June 4, 2023, and received a Biometrics Validity Letter on June 19, 2023. But since then, I haven't received any updates, and my application status is still stuck on "In progress."

I checked the IRCC Application Status Tracker and can see my Study Permit details, but I am still waiting for the OPR letter. I'm starting to feel a little lost on what to do next, as I am about to make flight and housing arrangements for my studies.

Please let me know if anyone else is in the same boat or has any advice on what I should do next. I'd appreciate any tips or guidance to help ease my worries. Thanks for your help!

More details:

1. Study Permit details include the document number and expiry date of my Study Permit and Visitor Visa.
2. All four sections (Biometrics, Medical exam, Eligibility, Background verification) are displayed as completed in the Application Status Tracker's Application details. However, the IRCC Portal still shows in progress ("We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements" and "We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information").

it has been passed more 4 months since BVL received. all in all I have been waiting nearly 7 months.

Did you fill out the webform or something? I am really confused about the whole SDS process. If they have approved my application, they should make it clear. From some posts, I learned that I may have been approved for a Study Permit and am now queued for OPR, but no one is sure about that.
