Offer Letter Received Late, Study Permit Application

Hi Folks, My cousin just received offer letter today Aug 10 2023 from Humber College for sep 2023 intake ( start date sep 5 2023), although application was made couple of months ago. Do we apply for study permit now or is it too late to apply for sep 2023 intake ?(applying from India)

Any Suggestions or experience someone can share

Yes, you definitely are a bit late to apply. But you can contact your college about them sending an offer letter too late as it seems to be a fault on their side and then co-ordinate what to do further. While it is still possible that visa may be approved on time but your cousin will definitely miss some classes in that case.

It's probably too late - but you can certainly try.

Be prepared for the possibility that the application won't be processed in time and that you'll have to defer to the next semester.

Don't book any flights.

No, this won't be a rejection reason.

It is very close

Better to defer and apply next intake if this program is available
Sep is the biggest intake across country.

You have just given biometric & hardly any time has passed
It is too close to get a decision
Defer to next intake and wait to see if you get an approval
