Hey i applied yesterday it was the last date and i submitted the application at 3.15 edt which is 7.15 UTC but i am still so worried and i am kind of in a messed up situation because my classes end on oct 19 which is like 18 days from now
There’s no reason to worry about then. As long as you haven’t left Canada you are on maintained status which allows you to remain here working and studying until you hear back from the government about your application.
hello elsa,
so I submitted a webform explaining the situation and apologizing. I also paid for the restoration of status, and attached the receipt to the same webform - just in case they needed.
I got my approval after 56 days. I was going through a lot of anxiety, but fortunately everything turned out fine.

Is there any chance that i could get a rejection and also i am not sure what to do if i get a rejection because i couldn't get an extension after because my course is gonna end soon. And if i don't have a valid study permit i will not be able to apply for work permit.

Hi @samrakaran
May I ask how that turned out for you? I’m in exactly the same situation.
I’m desperate. This summer, I had to travel back to my country for two months. I decided not to extend my visa there and do it from here. So, I arrived in Canada the day before its expiration date. Unfortunately, I didn’t pay attention to the timezone, considered the Canada time, and ended up submitting the application two hours after the UTC midnight.
My PGWP was set to expire Dec 12, I initially submitted an application for BOWP on December 11(pnp nominee) but there was a glitch in the payment and it kept saying payment in progress, when I realized it wasn’t going through; I hurriedly started another application; my submission date says December 11 but my received date is 12/12.
Has anyone been in this situation; what did you do?
