Unfortunately, 486 is too low. Today's draw was 542 for CEC! Not much time left on your PGWP to learn French. I'd advise, you could go back to your home country and get foreign experience points for a year. In the meantime, learn french and then you could increase your CRS. All the best!

Also this was a hypothetical score I did fyi:
I'm under 30
graduated from Canadian uni for my BA and MA
Foreign work experience is a year
and in Canada a year but wanna double check if what I did qualifies
and currently job searching
need to take the english IELT test
Use the online IRCC calculator. No one here is going to do this work for you. Also impossible to calculate without knowing your actual IELTS score and actual age.
You are probably best off working with a lawyer based on the kind of questions you have been asking.
Also strongly recommend you start learning French asap.

If you are asking this question, you need to spend a great deal more time researching Canada immigration programs or alternatively hire a lawyer to do this work for you.
Tbh, as things stand now, PR doesn't seem to be a priority for you at all.

ok sorry dumb question
Yeah I'm aware french is an official language and bilingualism is crucial especially in the capital.
I'll be frank now and serious. I plan to do so this month and consider it a priority hence making sure everything is well done

Do not be discouraged, I'll say recalculate your score again, as you should be getting higher scores at that age. Re-take CELPIP and aim for a band 10. Also with the removal of LMIA points in spring anything can change including scores dropping significantly in the pool. No one here can say for sure what the scores will be in next draws - review 2023 ITA draws to understand more - from the 500s scores dropped to the 480s. Having said that, have faith, its not over until its over... . Have a great day!

French proficiency effectively gives you 130+ points. 50 points for French proficiency, ~10 for having two official languages, and 70+ for having a lower cut-off score.
