My application for PR has been sent to the federal by my agent .
How I know federal has received it ?
Will I have to wait for AOR ( which takes 45-60 days ) to know or there is some receipt number etc which is provided earlier ?
I read somewhere that processing time (presently 47 months ) starts from time of receipt of application by federal and not from issue of AOR
Pls I wait expert comments

Hi Ash. You agent will receive your AOR which will have your UCI number. You can then access ecas with this number and keep a check on your file.
Yes your 47months starts from the day your application is received by CIC.

Let’s pray that the timeline is much shorter than given. I’m in my 20th month of waiting, hopefully the MR will come soon. Fingers crossed and prayers for all.

The information for pre-CSQ is that "the rate of accepted candidates without interviews, in all regions, has skyrocketed from 14% in 2013 to 74%. today." which is quite insightful information for me.
Is this in line with your own experience? I am still waiting for the interview invitation so am very curious to know about this stats about interview, if it is in line with direct experience of people in this forum.

Maybe if it has been announced on radio it could be correct.
As far as I am concerned I had to wait for almost 14 months for my interview.
As it is this program takes a long time
So expect delays

My interview was end May and got the original CSQ last week, expect to submit the application for Federal next week. My lawyer said Federal has a quota for Business application with CSQ, it seems they are not doing anything to improve the accessing time.
