I don't know the rules in Pakistan, but I feel if you gona right send an email or any thing to VO at this stage related to what Msaeed said, it may delay your file further.
If I were you i would have take NOC authority letter from others and would have taken with me.
Few days or probably weeks back one guy from NDVO reported some thing similar to this situation.
He sent his passport to CPP0 his case was handled by CCP0 so for stamping with same sort of authorization and explanation letter.His friend delivered his family passport on his behalf.

I am not an Immigration Expert , its better to call FIA Office in Pakistan or simply go to Airport , and meet FIA Incharge . He can advise best and fitting solution
Drop email to LVO , its simple , logical and only solution

I think it will not work you know FIA people in Pakistan if its illegal than illegal otherwise FIA people may ask you for money and I will not carry it just notarized copies of Passport and tell the visa officer what is the reason i cannot bring.....therefoere Canadian putt their visas in Islamabad cause we even cannot courier passport out of country .........

they should have made 2 interview letters for 2 FSW categories....
they are sending same letter to every one...

i think UAE Prince said to Canadian why you established embassy here for 12 countries and you are not calling interview and we are in less earning make interview and let us to get revenue from visitor ha ha ha ha
Just asking have you clarified this from some where (CIO or CIC) as the attachment have different guide lines.
You must bring with you all ORIGINAL
documents, translated into English or French, which apply to your application.
