I am feeling so hopeless now

We got to have some patience.
My file has been transferring from couple of months now from one office to another. And its been 2 months over the estimated processing time.

Yeah thanks, however there is only so much patience one can have, I have been very patient; I wish this was the only thing in my life to worry about but it isn't and it is only getting harder the longer this application takes. Apparently the file is in Yellowknife now (local office)

Hi everyone, my spousal file was received on 23 Sep 2019 at Mississauga. But my Vistor status got expire on 24 Sep 2019 ( as stemp on my pp). And now i m out of status. So anyone suggest me I can live legally in the mean time while my application is processed.

I do the same thing you are doing but I guess I have been lucky enough to get through a couple times. Most times it is busy but I call again and again and again, as I need to do the same at the gckey, after lots of attempts eventually i access my account.

Landed successfully at Niagara Falls. Very smooth process. No questions asked except for the regular four questions Good Luck everyone. It indeed was a long wait.

I contacted the MP and asked for the reason of delay in my application. She told that they are in security check process and there is no timeline for it. As I haven't applied for openwork permit, she told me in order to get medical card, I can apply for open work permit. I wonder if you know the procedure and if they give medical card with OWP?

Unfortunately, no update! I just talked to the lawyer and she said to me that there is nothing she can do in background check process. We have to wait!

Same here guys! 14months and 15 days now. Mine is stuck in winnipeg office. They told me on phone that my application has been approved on both sides since 1st august 2019 but still the file is at the office doing nothing. Did you guys check your ecas ? does it say its approved on sponsor and applicant side both ?
