I think that the phone system provides the general timeline for processing and I wouldn’t be surprised if some officers sit on the application until it hits the day for processing and then finalize it.
Last I called CIC 3 weeks ago, the agent told me that everything on my app looked completed (BGC and eligibility) and was just waiting for a final decision from the immigration officer and that they had until August 1 to do so...

I don't think that they wait for the absolute last minute before completing the application. They probably finalize the processing on certain days of the week once the requirements are complete. I highly doubt that they wait all the way until the day of just to finalize the application. There must be some reason that the application hasn't been finalized.

Is there anyone who has received an interview letter or DM that wasn't asked to do their RCMP check? I haven't received any of this, but I also haven't been asked to do my RCMP check. Anyone else that hasn't been asked? Thank you.

Just Google it and you can go to the closer office and i believe you have to show them the email you got requesting it, didn't you send it upfront?
