Called CIC this morning to update my phone number so I also asked about Montreal delays and I was told that there is no delay, that my timeline is 12 months and therefore should be completed by August 1st. Sounded like a standard response and wasn’t able to get any information. We shall wait and see! Can’t wait to hear about someone processed at Montreal hub moving forward it will give us all hope!

My wife is a sponsor for my application. We have received SA. But AIP seems to be taking some time. If anyone can help what could be the reason and what should I expect next. Following is my timeline.

• Application Received at CPC-Mississauga AUG 21, 2018
• Medical Request on NOV 02, 2018
• Medical Passed NOV 30, 2018
• Sponsor Approval (SA) APR 05, 2019

I have checked excel sheet where many have provided with their timeline, and most of the people get AIP first and then SA, that too same day and in some cases within a week. My concern is why AIP is taking so long.

And also after AIP next step would be BG check and DM ? correct me if I am wrong.

I will be thankful for any inputs and suggestions. Cheers and good luck to everyone!

You should check on your SA at the bottom of the page on the PDF what is your processing centre. Does it say Innovation Hub Montreal?

There isn’t much to do but to wait and hope that things move forward sooner than later. There are quite a few people in a similar situation on this thread and also from the June applicants.
