Mines says something else:

You may not hear from us for a little while, this is normal. Most of the progress on your application happens closer to your estimated completion date.

what is AIP? will they give me OWP after that? I am out of status now and have not given PCC from India as I left since I was 18

Yeah I was browsing through older threads and some suggested that your message indicates criminality, security, and medical passed. So I think yours is a good sign

From other posts I've seen after sponsor approval, applicant approval comes within days. So hang in there, shouldn't be long!

Not sure how long it will take as August timelines are different...

I spoke with an agent today, and they're working on the BGC. They're doing criminality and after that they will do security check. The BGC has started since Dec 28, 2018.

Also, just saw an update under MyCIC "We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements."

So this stage is SA and ???? What's next!

Once u received AIP u can apply for work permit and ohip
