just called CIC ...application is approved ....ask to wait 2 - 6 weeks for landing letter...way to go

Hello all,

Could someone please tell me: is there a way for my husband to apply for a work permit if we applied for out-land spouse sponsorship? He doesn't have any job offers at the moment, and we're not planning on going to Canada anytime soon unless he can get the work permit. I don't understand but it seems like the work permit pilot program is only for those applying in-land.

They are still processing all prior apps...just majority have been December . A 2014 applicant just got news this week....and a dec 17th got AIP yesterday

I would guess the London office. Hopefully they are quick to send a letter. At least you shouldnt be Etobicoke which has been seeing delays.
