Hello everyone!
So I decided to do my medicals before they request them (considering that they now have eMedical). But I still have a few questions. Do I also send the copy of the confirmation to CIC? Do I send it to CPC-M? That's where I sent my application. Thanks!!
@ laylala, did you include your UCI number?
Because if you did it will be attached to your file.
If you didn't then you would need to send a copy of the receipt to CIC.
I had to redo mine and I went ahead and sent them a copy of my receipt along with
Other info requested. They received my medical and matched it to my file before they received the copy if the receipt. But I had already gotten AIP before they requested my medicals so I had my UCI.

I haven't done them yet. Sorry, I meant I am going to. So, I guess it's best if I send the copy as well? Do I send it to the same office I sent my application to? I'm assuming the answer is yes, but I want to cover all my bases. Thank you!!

@laylala, that's where I sent mine. I noticed you've gotten AOR already if you use the UCI that was sent with the AOR chances are your medical will get there before the copy of your receipt!
Good luck!!

You have to be careful. The UCI assigned in the AOR is the sponsor's UCI, not the applicant. So don't want the medical assigned to the wrong UCI.

Thanks Cirene...the feeling is unexplainable
Si i got an AIP..and received email for medical and addtl reqts(my canadian son's birth certificate). But i never got an email about my owp...i send it with my app and just phone CIC today and the agent said that i should wait for couple days for there will be another email regarding the OWP... Is this normal? I thought once your approved, you will received an email the same day about your owp

Usually the OWP is approved on same day as AIP stage. But it is not always the rule. If it isn't approved same day as OWP, it will be approved shortly after.

@ screech it's one file tho. Unless the applicant reveives AIP that's the only way to have documents matched to your file. I know CIC actions have been unpredictable but the only medical needed is that of the person being sponsored. If it's received before AIP it's all one file. After AIP there's one file but two sides?

Yeah, I was worried about that. I do have a Visitor record with a UCI number. I'm not sure if that's the same number they will give me as a PR applicant though. Uuugghh!! LOL I might change my mind about sending it. Although my hubby said it was worth the risk. I guess we'll have another conversation about it once he gets back from work. Hahaha Thank you Screech and Jolly!
Hey 2012'ers,
I keep getting unknown missed calls to my phone at weird hours, in my phone it says "No Caller ID." What did your phone log say when you all received calls from CIC? They called really early my time at 5:46 AM, so I am assuming it wouldn't be CIC calling that early and left no messages.
Just curious though!
Thanks,

Use the UCI found in your visitor record. It is your UCI.

Thanks,
I don't think its CIC calling you. Not that early in the morning. Besides if they needed to reach you, they would leave you a message.

Congrats on getting your final piece of the puzzle, your PR card.
I have updated the timesheets.
