Hi CFC123 thank you for the encouraging words! I am actually from Niagara Falls... I haven't seen anyone from this form close to my location to be able to determine how long would take for the interview after DM. Closet one I have seen is from Hamilton. I really hope I hear something back, there has been a lot of bad things happening to my family lately... I would be so happy if at least this one comes to an end . I hope you don't have to wait for very long for your landing interview! And all the best of luck to everyone in the forum still waiting!
Hi guys! So finally got my AIP yesterday nite, my wife got it and called me at work, and later I got an email too saying I eligible to apply for residency! Have to send a new police report though! After the long wait I am so thankful to God! And thanks to all 2012er who have helped on this long CIC journey! Hope my second stage won't be as stressful as the first!

Hi Guys I have a question, my friend landed last month in Vancouver to become a PR. She started dating her husband in Dec 2010 and they got married July 2012 and they filed for PR January 2013. Does conditional PR apply in her case?? Basically they were together for 2 yrs and married for 6 months out of the two years of being together does conditional PR apply in her case? She wants to know if anyone can help with this question it will help.

The 2 year conditional PR applied in your friend's case since they were married less than 2 year at time of applying for PR. The 2 years of dating does not apply unless they applied after 2 years of common law which isn't the case here.
@yaye2009 tell me more about Canada embassy in Africa processing time .vegreville has completed my file and waiting for Accra office to complete my non accompanying dependent . Who completed his medical in august . And he passed his medicals so don't know what Accra embassy is doing to give okay to vegreville . This is my 13th month since AIP . Africa processing centre are the slowest !!!
