Thanks Screech! still terribly excited to have gotten a landing date and to be 'green'
My landing date is on the 13th of January (not the 18th like it says on the time sheet).
I'll make sure to take my expired SIN when I go. I'm always on the cautious side and bring way too much stuff LOL
Rifat - congrats on getting your landing date. You're not at the Etobicoke office by chance as well, are you?
We just finish landing today.
The appointment is between 9:30am and 11:30am. We arrive there at 9:10. There are two couples before us.
The officer start working on 9:30. It takes us about 15 mins to process and then my hubby get his COPR. We wait another 15 mins to process the SIN. Luckily the London office has Service Canada on site.
We leave there around 10:30am.
The whole thing goes well. The officers are all nice and friendly. So no need to worry about landing interview, it is just a final process.
Thanks to you all for sharing useful information. Especially those who answered my question, I really appreciate it. Wish you all have good luck. And Merry Christmas to everyone.

Hi Connie, congrats on your AIP&DM on the same day and congrats on your landing!
By the way, where are you from? Maybe are you Japanese? Because you wrote '☆*:.。. o(≧▽≦)o .。.:*☆', and as you know it's from Japan! ;D
@connie 121 must have seen you at the landing. Did you have a yellow jacket on. Trying to remember #3, we were 2 after you. Congrats. Great feeling and my hubbie got a job 2 weeks ago so that is a great help.

My wife had the landing appointment last Thursday...
Well it has been almost 2 years, we sent the application just after new Year in 2012.
Anyway, we are happy we will be able to travel out of Canada again soon. Can't wait to go visit somewhere warm...
We never did receive the landing letter but went to speak with someone in the local office in person and they enquired with the Immigration Officer and she phoned us back to schedule the landing appointment the next day.
The landing only took 5 minutes.
I wouldn't recommend going to the local office and trying to speak to someone as it probably won't get you very far in most CIC local offices but Yellowknife is very small and everyone happens to know everyone and in this case it worked. I think it also happened quickly after we complained because our case has been taking nearly two years!
Congrats to aadhalla and bethfaint on their landing today as PR. I wonder if they bump into each other at the landing office as both are landing in Calgary.
