Can someone tell me if it is normal.
I applied in Oct 2012, first part (sponsor) was approved in March .. and nothing from since then .... starting to get worried, since Dec people are getting approved.

I'd give CIC a call tomorrow. There are cases where they have sent a letter asking for more information, but it was sent to the wrong address. Since they are well past your date, they should be able to give you an update and let you know if anything is needed.

Ohh, thank you for everyone! It's good to see 6 days or a week. I hope it's gonna be in my own hand in a week or 2. Until I can't be sure I got that. @ sunibaby, it's the only thing that's been consistent with
CIC. Most ppl seem to get it with in 6 days!
Mine was aproved and mail on October 23 and I received it on Wednesday .
6 business days!

I dont regularly check my ecas but today i noticed that my status says "Decision Made" but when i click on it, the information is still the same. It doesnt say anything about a letter being sent or something like that... is this normal? Im a 2011 applicant.

I have noticed that you also have a non-accompanying dependent in the phils. did they receive any immigration forms requests aside from the medicals? i am just wondering bcoz i sent my daughter's meds along with the application and then last week manila sent them the request for forms such as 0008,additional fam,statutory declaration and even her birth certificate.

30 2013. I received AIP September 11 2013.
My hopes at the time was that CIC would
Receive my application before they issued AIP and so i would hv gotten my OWP
when I received AIP.
That obviously didn't happen. It was received August 30 was only attached to my file September 30.
It was approved October 23rd. I send it by paper.

@Jaimeirl, no problem. The online process is faster than by paper. But if your waiting for AIP you might as well send it by paper and save the wait!

I think you should give them a call? Cic received my application
for OWP August 30 it was approved and mailed October 23 , I received it on Wednesday .
It took one week to get to me.

and they are still reviewing my OWP
When my wife called the other day, the agent told her OWP mail was sent.
So...the other agent lied???

I called again. The agent told me it would take up to 4 month.
- Probably the process would be slow until New Year from now on.

So frustrating.
I think most of people here wait for OWP more than AIP.

I have the timesheet updated. Thanks for your feedback. That is a good question about OWP processing and getting DM/AIP same time. I think they will still process it regardless. The only time they may not process it is if you landed before OWP processing was started.
