Thanks QO (see how I took the liberty to give your nickname a nickname there? LOL) I am not terribly concerned with the actual AIP letter only to the extent that it will allow me to get OHIP applied for. Otherwise, it is just some more paper. I would like to know if I need to redo medicals and such though, my biggest concern right now, because mine DID expire Oct 22, or at least that is why my receipt from the doc is dated from last year. That is my main concern that I don't know if they need this information or not LOL

@Alurra, I had similar happened! I had a Lawyer
as well and he is listed as mailing address BUT only for my husband (that's what Ecas shows)
My both address (as per Ecas) is our home address! My hubby is the sponcer.
When we got our AIP I got the mails but didn't get one address to me.
Only that the hubby was qualified to sponsor me. I called and was told they could not make a request for the
info to be resend unless (5) business days had pasted.
I had to wait the five days and ca bk and they made a request for the info to be mailed to my home address.
I had to redo my medicals!!
So may be y should give them a call. I've also noticed all documents now come to me at our home address.
May be it cause that's what's listed on my side of Ecas!!

Hi,

Finally today my ecas has been updated to "Decision Made". I have not yet received any communication from CIC, so I am hoping I will receive something in my mailbox in next few days. I live in Hamilton so I am hoping it will be my landing office.

My timeline is:

- Application received at the CPC (Vegreville, AB) on May 7, 2012
- AOR Received on August 31, 2012
- Medical Done on October 16, 2012 (showed on ecas on Nov 21, 2012)
- AIP - October 16, 2012 (ecas updated on October 23, 2012)
- OWP - Applied online on Aug 8, 2013 and received it on Sep 23, 2013 (Duration - 2 yrs)
- Fingerprinting request - Done on Sep 13, 2013. RCMP has completed the verification on Sep 16, 2013 and sent it to CIC.
- DM - ECAS updated on Oct 15, 2013

Thanks for all your advice and support.

Today I received letter for Landing interview from Hamilton CIC dated Oct 28, 2013. I did not expect it to come so soon, since I have not really received any email or snail mail saying that a decision has been made (only the ecas update). Finally I see some light at the end of the tunnel :).

- DM - Oct 11, 2013 (ECAS updated on Oct 15, 2013)
- Landing - Nov 8, 2013 (Hamilton)

Congrats de_to_ca on getting your landing letter.

Hello guys! I'm wondering if there are poeple here who has accompanying dependents in their home country?

I do have one in my home country.

my husband and I just received aip and owp after almost 3 years. I also did medical exams again.

After all that, i'm wondering how long would it take before they ask medicals for my dependent. Another year or two? I hope i'm still sane by that time. I haven't seen my son for 3 years :(

congrats de_to_ca on your landing letter!

and huge congrats to Sonja on your DM!!!

yipeeeeee!

I guess the reason why this week is a bit quiet because just there is no applicants from 8th December to 10th of December here. CIC is working for them now. ;)

Congrats de_to_ca on getting your landing letter! I want to land next month, too!

Screech, I went to register for health insurance. On the website, they say that you will be eligible for the Québec Health Insurance Plan after a waiting period of up to 3 months following your registration. But I was told that I will be covered from 1st January. That means I wait only 2 months. However, if I go to register tomorrow, I would be covered from February. I'm lucky! ;D
