I am in the exact same situation as you were, I came to Canada under the LIC, I was fired-quit (long story) 5 months after I came and I married my canadian boyfriend soon after, we are obviously are a real marriage, I am glad to hear you got approved, but could you please tell me more about your case?? why you had interview?

I am also hoping that they don't think the wrong stuff. email me or reply here please?

I gave them a call and they've gotten my medicals. They're still apparently working on my background checks too. She said they're in the stage where they verify the background checks? I dont know what that means, but she game me an estimation of April-May until I hear something back. I suppose that's semi-good news..

Yes we just sent the application in to obtain Foss Notes last week. We do know however that it was sent due to Short Courtship, Age Difference, and Cultural Difference. We have updated the file twice since finding that out so hopefully that lays some answers they had to rest. We have submitted all that we can to prove our relationship is genuine. I feel positive that in the end they will find that the relationship is genuine, whether they have to interview or not, I am optimistic that it will all work out in the end. It just takes time and while we are waiting we are doing our best to supply to them all that they need to approve our application. Wishing the best for everyone else on here.

Hey! We are so close to each other. I got DM on March 5.
For your case, I think you got AIP and DM at the same time. Good for you! I think the letter you got was the AIP letter. The DM letter will come shortly. Just be patient!

Today I got a letter from CIC with a "Client History Update Form", which totally confused me and made me so upset! I thought my case should be done right now as last time an agent told me I might get DM in a month, but obviously, he can't think what the OFFICER is thinking!

I have been waiting after AIP for 5 months till now, the thing is why CIC can't ask for everything all in once, instead, they just ask one thing at a time, then all we can do is just repeated waiting.. :'( :'( :'(
