May I ask you... Your e-cass main page shows "in process" or "decision made"?

If she is the one being sponsored, then yes, she needs a letter saying she has gotten first stage approval.

OMG, CrazyLucy, so that means you first were requested to do you police cert after AIP and after that they requested to redo you medical?? WHy couldn't they do it all at once?? ???

Good morning everyone.....sorry for not having good news to share

I just finished a call with call center and I'm wondering maybe I should not call them anymore since I've been being more and more disappointed every time when I finished the call. I've called 3 times since last November and I got 3 different answers from them. The answers include "wait until March 2012", then "wait until May", and the CIC lady now just told me "everything looks good, you only need to wait the final decision, maybe is around July"...... ??? JULY??!! :'( and all I can do was telling her "thank you, good bye"

I've started felt I'm an idiot since I didn't apply OWP when I got AIP. Because my bf and I are planning to move to other city as soon as we finished the PR processing, even though I did know that my processing will take longer than some other people because I have a non-accompany kid outside Canada but I really don't know it will take that long when we've provided everything at the beginning already.

Sorry....I know it's all my personal problems, and I know I'm not the only one still waiting, I should not complaining like a baby. I just have no place to tell the feeling....Please forgive me.

My e-cass shows Decision made, but there's no comments on the details (still the old one: received on March 30, start processing on April 18).... I called CIC and they told me we got AIP on Feb 26, and now we have to wait 8 month for the second stage....

Really confusing ??? I guess we'll have to wait for the post man...

Thats a really good question.

My best guess is, is that they look at things one at a time. Backgrounds first, Criminal background second, Medicals third. I dont think they look at the file as a whole and just in sections, otherwise I think they might have. That's just my theory anyways.

Hmmmm....just got off the phone with CIC call center agent and she said every thing on my file is fine and they have already attached both my police certificate and my new passport request since jan 27,2012..but they are waiting for the visa office from my home country because i have non-accompanying dependents ....she does not even know when the visa office will finish their part......its really hard for this waiting.... i hope they move very fast .
