Exactly, enjoy this ....... 8) 8) 8) 8)
i too got all excited when I saw the line about A decision has been made but some others on here put me straight.....lol
That is normal for application completion, but if your medicals have expired they may require that you have an updated set done before you land. Unless you are a threat to public health or safety, they won't refuse on medical grounds.
Ah No, I don't mean to put a downer on your great news
Hopefully, I have it wrong and you will get loads of letters next week
As Computergeek says, each case is different. Your Ecas could change anytime
I really hope its both stages for you. You've waited long enough

I checked on eCAS on 16 it says DM for PR applicant it was In Progress before. The following day 17 I got the letter from CIC saying I will get another letter from local immigration office. Yesterday I got the letter from local immigration office saying I will be having a final determination interview (landing I assume) on Nov 19. So that's my timeline. I wish you the best
Your letter and dates happened quick! That is SO awesome! Im so happy for you! Do a happy dance when you are there for all of us who are still waiting Which office are you landing in?
HAHAHA...poor little boy! I cant now its 4pm in Ontario and CIC is closed.
If CIC process AIP for curious_one 2 days ago, dont think CIC has opened my application yet.

Thats exactly what happened - medicals have expired. I was hoping we would be ok and not need them redone but we missed the 15 month mark by 2 months Do you know how long it typically takes for them to receive the new medicals and clear everything for landing?
What had me confused is that after the note about medicals requested they put decision made for PR....

I did my medicals in Scarborough (ON) and 1 week after the doctor sent them to Ottawa, then Ottawa sent the results to Vegreville. In general it takes at the most a couple of months (in my case it was 1,5 month).
Fingers crossed for you!!!

No no - no downers don't worry! You were just helping - more information from other peoples experiences helps me determine the reality with mine - it helps ease my mind if anything!
But I am secretly still hoping for loads of letters next week heheh Either way I am EXTREAMLEY happy that my hubby now has something to keep his time preoccupied with when his OWP comes in the mail! He has had several GOOD job offers so far but couldnt work. But NOW he can!! YAAAAY!
Is there anyone else from Vancouver that has not received their Landing Letter from around our date.
Application sent Aug 18th 2011, AIP July 5th 2012 and DM Sept 10th 2012. The letter said the local office (Vancouver) will contact, but nothing yet??? CIC call center just keeps saying that it will take three months for the letter.
Is there anyone in the same waiting game? Do not understand how Vancouver could take three months just to send a letter for the final intrview for landing.
Many Thanks and good luck to all.... This is not an easy process.
