Hi Cilioca. So sorry to hear about your long wait. Based on what I read in this forum, it seems like most 2012 applicants are already getting AIP and stage 2 this early; while most 2011 are stuck with either waiting for stage 2 DM or no AIP at all. The processing time for AIP has shortened significantly. Based on the website, Stage 1 takes only 6 months now.

Just be a lil bit patient. If you sent docs last August, you might be getting Stage 2 DM anytime this month. I think Labhouise also sent her additional docs a few months ago--and she got stage 2 DM last week. Good luck. God bless.

Yes I sent Additional docs on May 10th.
They were added to my file Sept. 19th.
I got AIP Oct 1st. But no DM yet. It still says In Process and when I click it says a decision has been made but this is AIP only

Well we got an unexpected email for a sunday afternoon; my wife received her 2nd stage PR DM through email, they are really working hard on that backlog it seems.
Funny as we were back from walking our dog early this afternoon my wife peeked into the mailbox and I made the remark, nah sweetheart there won't be any 2nd stage letter on a Sunday... 3 hours later we receive the email .
Tomorrow we will have double celebration, our wedding anniversary and the PR DM

God Bless us all! We are March 2011 applicants and the last update we had was that they started processing our application on May 18, 2012...It's so difficult to be patient!

Normally a transfer to a local office before AIP is a relationship issue (e.g., they want to do an interview). If they then transferred it back, it sounds like the local office reviewed and determined the relationship is genuine, so they sent it back to Vegreville.

So we received our 2 letters today
One for my hubby saying he has met the requirements to sponsor me and one for me saying the same and they have sent me my OWP etc.
They haven't required any further documents, thankfully.
Funny thing is my hubby now has a client number and when we log into his Ecas, Under Sponsor AND Pr is sayd Decision Made

Hopefully we are near the end

I don't think that we have a relationship issue as they know that my wife is expecting twins in two weeks and she lived with me in Uk for 3 years under my visa.

LOL. Someone in Vegreville flagged it for investigation, the local office opened it and said "duh, there's no issue here" and sent it back!

Lol but they did not ask for any relationship documents but asked for police certificate , which I sent it back.

Hmm. Rather odd, really. Vegreville could have asked for a PCC. You should order case notes - they would tell you why it was forwarded to a local office (and then transferred back) most likely.

I hope for your sake that you don't have any further hiccups and everything goes smoothly.
