Did u already get the letter to ask u to wait for Ottawa office's contact for landing?

I didnt get the letter yet. Cic just told me i finished step 1, and application was sent to ottawa office now. In the letter, they said ottawa office will contact you, right? Usually around 2 weeks though.
That is all info i got today. So let's share the news too.

Hey guys! So I just had my landing interview, appointment was at 8am at etobicoke. I paid the fees then waited for them to call my name. My sponser and I went to the counter, IO asked me to review the info on the COPR, then asked if I have kids/ criminal record and how did we meet. Then he said congrats you can now go for a vacation with a laugh. I applied for my sin there too.

I will have my landing interview on November 8. I have to go back home to the Philippines by November 25 coz my father is seriously ill and as sad as it is he said he is just waiting for me to come home. How long does an expedited PR card take if I show them the proof of travel and all that stuff. I can still apply for a travelling document when I get to the Philippines if I don`t get my PR card right away, right? what's the best thing to do in this situation? I was thinking of booking the tickets soon and when interview comes, I will let them know my situation.

Maybe u can schedule ure return flight from US as you can enter canada using ur landing immigration document by car only if you dont have pr card by then

Open work permit usually takes almost 2 months. I applid online on August 27, after i recieved my aip letter until now i have no news. I was hoping to land before they process that one so i can refund the processing fee but till now no 2nd stage approval yet. Its been more than one month and my husband is going away for a month.
