Welcome to our thread. Let me know once Vegreville gets your package and I will add you to the list
I am assuming that the reason why you are asking me if I am able to work is because you may think that I am the applicant? I was born and raised in Canada and I am sponsoring my husband.
Welcome to our thread Canadagirl85. I hope you feel at home here.
I have not heard of people getting approved before the 9 months unless anyone else cares to share. Right now they are opening packages from June 14,2010 and the are usually about a week ahead of that in approving AIP's.
We are all in for the wait. It was only 2 weeks yesterday since they received mine. 9.5 more months to go.
UPDATED CHART
INLAND APPLICATIONS SENT IN 2011 CHART
(Currently taking 9-10 months from date app was received to hear by CIC about AIP)
Name Application Received In Process Decision Made AIP Total TimeforAIP PR/LANDED
Thanks for updating me !!... And yes the long long wait is a head of us. I am so happy I found this message borad.. I have a feeeling I'm going to be spending a lot of time on here over the next year
I feel the same way. When I found this message board it gave me a little comfort in knowing that there are others out there that are in the same boat as us.
Plus, I like coming on here and seeing people actually get AIP and PR. It doesn't seem as unrealistic as it does in the early stages for us.
I am still waiting to hear fleo, sesamerush and dorina to see if anyone's files are in process yet? Where are you guys? LOL.
asmallant, I do not understand your question. Maybe you should create a thread and see what people say.
Gemauru, I hear ya. I just read on the 2010 inland thread that someone got AIP that sent there's in on June 23. Looks like CIC is ahead of the game which is a good thing. Chin up guys.
Ya fleo, keep us posted on if your application is in process yet. I just need to know. LOL. Actually, I just like updating our small tiny little chart. hehe.
What else are you sending to CIC?
Will it slow down the process at all if I send something too?

Copy of a new passport, my current one is expiring in July. I don't think it would slow down the process unless you decide to shower them with a 100 new pages to read through
