Got my PCC done today at CGI Toronto. Thanks to the previous posts in this thread, whole process was really smooth.
Reached at 8:30 am, got money order ($92) done by Canada post in next building. 9:20 am I was in CGI office. Person at reception asked for:
One copy of Application Form, Photo pasted on first page.
Copy of status document ( in my case, PR and Landing Document both)
Copy of passport.
Address proof (I provided electricity bill)
He gave a declaration form to be filled along paperwork and I was sent to counter 4.
At counter 4, Person took my documents, asked for original PR card and passport. Returned PR card after giving a look and asked me to wait as they'll call for money order.
After 30 minutes same person called and took money order and told us to collect PCC at 3 pm.
If you need an emergency pcc for your pr application from the Consulate General of India, Toronto located at 365 Bloor St E.
When you walk in just write your name in the visitors log and ask them for 2 forms,
Self declaration and application for pcc.
The set of documents needed are
Original Passport
Original student/work permit
1.PhotoCopy of the permit
PhotoCopy of 1st and last page of the passport
2. A draft of $92 drafted towards
“Consulate General of India”
3. Copy of your current address proof it could be a hydro bill/lease agreement/driver’s license.
No photographs are needed, do not waste your time. Reach as early as 9.30 am, fill up your forms, submit them at the window and pick them up same day.
Your pickup time may be after 3 pm so keep yourself available for the rest of the day.
I actually traveled once, but I left blank. I asked the person in BLS Toronto and he said since you have attached all passport page photo copy so you should be ok.

I visit India every 3 months and the question on page 2 asked at cgi for emergency pcc is after you obtained a status how many times have you visited, leave that part blank. It doesnt matter
Hello..for getting same day delivery of PCC in CGI Toronto , can I give bank statement as a proof of address ? Also, is it true that Indian passport should be renewed in Canada to get the same day PCC ?

Need some information regarding the Police Clearance Certificate, hope if anybody could help.
I am an Overseas Citizen of India, with Canadian Citizenship acquired in Oct.2016.
I left India on October 4, 2011 when I got my Canadian PR.
So basically, I will be needing PCC from the period when I was residing there with Indian Passport (period before Oct.2011).
I initially started looking into it and found out that I might get it from BLS international, but when I read a bit deeper, I figured out that there is an exception as follows (from an excerpt of PCC checklist)
"Former Indians who have obtained foreign citizenship cannot apply for a Police Clearance Certificate based on their past stay in India, when they held Indian passports"
So kindly guide me the procedure to be adopted for getting PCC (at the earliest), for the period when I was residing in India, before immigrating to Canada.
