I applied with a job offer as a Business Administrator, Federal skilled worker, in March 2008. Received AOR In June 2008 and nothing since. I also noticed like others that my status recently changed from In Process to Application Received. According to the new rules I do not think Business Administrator falls under any of the categories listed ( I could be wrong). Does anyone think that Business Administrator/Business Analyst falls under category 0213: Computer and Information Systems Managers. If it does not fall in any category , then would my (approved by HRDC) job offer get me through the process or would I be rejected.
Thanks for any advice.

A business manager position that deals with IT systems and manages people will fall under that category but not business manager in the sense that they make business decisions rather than IT decisions.

Does my Arranged employment offer need to be on the category list, because according to the CIC website
1. According to the Minister’s instructions, your application is eligible for processing if:

you have an offer of arranged employment,
OR
you are a foreign national who has been living legally in Canada for one year as a temporary foreign worker or an international student,
OR
you are a skilled worker who has at least one year of experience in one or more of the occupations listed here.

According to the above and to my understanding the arranged employment does not need to fall on the list. Am I misunderstanding this. Thanks for any assistance

the job doesnt have to be on the list but it might have other requirements like some government approval....this part i dont know.
