I live in Quebec City and my zip code comes under Toronto Jurisdiction. However, Toronto is very far for an in-person SC/OCI application and I want to make sure that my application is accepted so I am not interested in postal applications.
Is it possible to submit my application to the Montreal/Ottawa BLS office (under Ottawa jurisdiction)? Has anyone tried to apply in a different jurisdiction that is convenient to them? Please let me know.
I submitted my passport surrender application at BLS Brampton. Status changed to “Processing at the Consulate General” on October 02.
But still I couldn’t track it on embassy site. Its says "Entered Application reference number can not be tracked"
is it normal? how much time it takes to see some status on embassy site?

Purolator delivered my postal application for SC on Oct-2.
