Yes you can just take the printed label to any purolator location and also you will get free envelope to send your application. I dropped my application at purolator location today.

I chose the pick and drop option and i believe they charge for this service according to your postal code , after this its upto you like you want them to come to your house for pick up or you can go to them and about the tracking no you get that in your email from purolator when you pay for their service at bls site

Its $110.4 CAD. You just need to provide one postal order or bank draft of this amount under name of BLS given on website and send it with your application.

Hi, shouldn't BLS service fees of $7.40 should be on a separate bank draft per the PDF? This is for Toronto, not sure for other jurisdictions.

no you can include all in one draft. I submitted to Toronto jurisdiction as well and just received my new passport back as well.

1. Application sent to BLS Toronto Jurisdiction in Brampton via Purolator shipping label: Dec 21st
2. BLS email notification about application receival: Dec 22nd
3. BLS Website updated to "passport processing at embassy": Dec 27th
4. India Embassy GOV website updated to "Application is being processed": Dec 29th
5. India Embassy GOV website updated to "Passport Print has been initiated": Jan 2nd
5. India Embassy GOV website updated to "Passport has been printed": Jan 4th
5. BLS website application tracking updated to "Passport dispatched via Purolator": Jan 6th
5. New Passport received via Purolator on: Jan 7th

The instructions say that they will know that we paid based on the passport information that we provide while creating the label.

On the BLS website when we first visit, there is a popup message regarding Covid procedures. If you scroll down, they did mention they Tatkal is available via mail now. We applied in Tatkal actually. One thing though is that in the PDF checklist which is part of the application, they will mention who is not eligible for Tatkal, so double check that part to make sure you are eligible.
