Indian Passport Renewal from BLS Toronto

I applied for passport renewal in canada and got police verification in India after two weeks. I don't know how much time it will take now to get my new passport?

The system update about the police verification process from India took Around 12 Days that's what the officer told me who visited my home for verification. So On the top of that 15 more days.

I have mailed my passport renewal application to BLS Brampton and it reached them on May 21. It’s been almost four weeks and it still says “No Records Found” when I track the status online. Is this normal? Are anyone in the same boat? No matter how many times I reached them over phone, I keep getting the answers that the status would soon be updated. My only worry is that I have sent in my original old passport and do not want to hear that they don’t have my application package with them.

yeah, It's normal. In my case, they put my file in system for tracking on 26 June but they received on 8th June. they are putting file packages for quarantine and opening order wise so relax

The officer contacted me next day morning when I received the email related to this. I also asked him how much time it will take to get appear in the system? He said 12 days.

which system are you talking about here? The BLS tracking for me just says that they have received my application and I got police verification initiation email via passport.admin.

The verification was done recently but I am not sure which system I can trust for accurate tracking. Could you please explain that? thank you!!

btw, did you get an email when the update showed up on bls website or just randomly it happened to be there when you checked?

Verification Is done in India 10 days ago no update yet so I believe what officer in India said Is correct

I received an email notification from BLS saying they received my package for passport renewal. But I am not able to track my application on BLS (No Records Found).

From when can I track my application progress on BLS ? Will I get any other email from BLS or Consulate saying my tracking is now Active ?

BLS would send you another email in the next week just Wait

My application status is Processing at Consulate General . How much time it takes from now to get my passport renewed ???any idea or thoughts from any one tnx.

My old address in old passport in india is same as what i applied now. Even then it was referred for Police verification in India. However i heard Police verification is no longer needed for renewal of passport if we have same address. Completely confused about the process.. Don't know how many days it will take to get new passport...Really frustrating....
