Are you not seeing this when you click on https://portal4.passportindia.gov.in/Online/index.html?
Other option is to Click on User login where you submitted the application. It should show your application there with option to track. This inspect method works there as well.

MY pv was completed last to last weekend but still don't see any updates after 28th oct. it still says 'PV initiated'. I need to travel on 22nd nov,I applied on oct 4th been close to 6 weeks now bls brampton. how can i expidate or know anymore info. please help

Are you not seeing this when you click on https://portal4.passportindia.gov.in/Online/index.html?

I guess we all are screwed big time. Same case with mine, travelling on Nov 29, Applied on Oct 9, this was supposed to be a comfortable timeline but yet here I am, no update since Oct 15, no PV initiated as well. Panicking now as the financial cost will be huge for me.

2. Right click on the page and click on inspect from the menu... found this

Cannot find the below:

3. There will be browser related developer tools which will open adjust the height of developer tools so that you will be able to click on Track status dialog
4. Click on the Track status dialog and fill out the information regarding your application and click Track application status button
5. Now in the browser developer tools you can see network tab which is basically 4th option in chrome click on it

Sorry for the trouble but if you get a chance can you please send screenshots, I do not have an IT background and hence the request... Thanks again

Police has to upload the documents to Passport india portal or some internal portal to get the below status updated. Looks like, they visited and collected the documents from your Indian address but never updated Passport authority that police verification is cleared. Check with police if they have done this

does this happen in local police station as well or does it go to delhi commission for approval? When asked the police they said its passed from them and it will go to delhi?

I dont know who finally updates this status. But what I understand is Police need to upload some documents in portal. Check with BLS/Mission why the status is not updated from long time.
