Quebec doesnt have provincial ID RAMQ exists for workers, but nothing for students.

and you can use aadhar card/pan card, international driving licence or driving licence verified by consulate only

Can we pay passport renewal application fee in BLS office directly or need to take check /DD?
if it is check/DD, what is the exact amout i need to take?

i only know about bls montreal - they calculated the final amt themselves and accepted my debit, no issues there.

Passport reached consulate, Toronto on 13th and the status changed to granting initiated on 16th. So far no update since then .
Canadian PR change of address to Canada and spouse name addition..

Please , share your experiences..

I'll be travelling in mid April so thinking for tatkal option.

For Adding a Spouse's name, you can't apply under tatkal. For the Normal category, it can take 5-8 Weeks. Apply by next week to get a passport in time for travel.

Just wanted to give update -
"Toronto BLS" do not allow walk-in for any service for some reason. Appointment needs to be made before you show up there.

They were opening last-minute slots for next-day appointments every day around the afternoon time in November. not sure if they are still doing it but worth checking. I booked 2 last-minute next-day visits in November. Thanks.

I had applied for the passport renewal of myself and my minor daughter at the same time (On Jan 21) however my application has proceeded to Processing at Consulate however the application of my daughter is still at "Under Process In Transit from BLS Center to Consulate general"
How do I get the latest status on the passport renewal application of my minor daughter? Are there any issues which are preventing them for changing the status to Processing at Consulate? Please confirm
