Indian Passport Renewal from BLS Toronto

How long does it take from "print initiated for passport" -> next stage.
My mothers passport is in that stage for almost 2 weeks.

Emailing them has not really been very helpful.
There was an issue with my police verification so I had to visit the office (Wednesday open house 3pm to 4pm) and the officers helped me out and then my file got processed.

What was the problem with PV ? How did you come to know that there was issue with PV ? Could you help plz ?

My wife's passport is stuck in similar situation for last 4 days. Where as my son's passport was dispatched in two days after his passport renewal application moved to "print initiated for passport "

Mine is also in the same status for more than a week now. Does anyone know if there is a way to contact embassy or BLS India to check and see if we can expedite the process?

Update - Print Initiated (Oct 4th), anyone with similar timeline?

Yes My Police Verification Completed on 6th October and the status turned as "Print Initiated" and its been a week now with no further updates. Any luck for you ?

I got an email that Police Verification has been initiated for my passport reissue application.

- What would happen if they came to my Indian address and no one is home? How will we know they have come when no one was at home?

- What documents can we provide for the verification?

When I called BLS they told me walk-in is limited and there are lot of ppl waiting.. Keep an eye on the calendar to find an available slot.
