Indian Passport Renewal from BLS Toronto

My passport application status is showing:- Passport has been handed over by the Embassy/Consulate to the OSP executive for further dispatch to the applicant.

Does this mean that renewal is done and they will courier it to me now? Can I check the courier status with bls?

I have same status since last week. I Contacted BLS but they are saying passport is still processing at high comission.

Call BLS and let us know what they say.

What was your application status right before this? Is this the status from the passportindia.gov website or BLS?

This is the status from https://portal4.passportindia.gov.in/Online/index.html portal. I am not sure about my previous status as I didn't check here before.

However, my staus at BLS is still - Processing at High Commission.

@devmtl - I called them now but they gave the same answer that it is being processed at the high commission. The status will change once they have received the passport. Nothing new from their side.

Just saw my application status on passportindia.gov.in change from "Print has been initiated for passport"(29/09) to "Passport has been printed" (08/10)
Hopefully I get it soon! Will keep you all posted

I called HCI Ottawa. Passport was dispatched from India on 30-Sept. Approximate time after dispatch is 2-3 week.

Thanks for sharing! I didn't know the passport is printed in India. Let me know when you get it.

Application submitted to bls on 28th August in person in North york office.
Police clearance email recieved 11th September.
Police clearance done on 14th September.
Received passport today 1st October.

Hi what is the way to check if the police clearance is done? Call at the "other address" listed on the application and check?

My application status on the BLS website just got updated from "Processing at Consulate General" to "In transit from Consulate General to BLS Centre". The last status update I saw on the passportindia.gov.in website was yesterday where it said "Passport has been printed".

BLS status changed to "Ready for Dispatch" this morning and then "Dispatched via Courier" a few minutes ago

My BLS status is changed to Dispatched via Courier as well.

I checked shipping label for purolator was created on 9-Oct. Its not picked up yet.

I get an error message on Purolator's tracking page when I enter the tracking number provided by BLS. I'm guessing it's probably not picked up yet.

Tracking is now available. It shows it has been picked up and estimated delivery date is tomorrow.
