Indian Passport Renewal from BLS Toronto

Hi All,

I submitted for passport renewal on Nov 19 2024 at Calgary BLS Walkin, Dec 23rd Police verification was cleared and the status on passport seva under review at embassy/consulate. if anyone guide it will be really helpful I am traveling at the end of feb so need some clarification,

I checked on 6th Jan the status was Stop Printing for CPPFAdmin
on 7th jan Send Back From CPPF"

I dont know what does this mean.

Congrats! How long did it take to update?? Did you contact the police station or just waited?

Thanks! It took almost a week after the verification. PS asked us to wait when we contacted them to get the update.

What is escalated to CPPF?

To be honest, I do not know.

CPPF.... sounds like central passport printing facility or something.

I have Print initiated on January 18th. How long it takes from print initiated to printed and when I can get my passport? I have my flight Feb 2nd. Do you all think if I can get it before then?

Thanks! It took almost a week after the verification. PS asked us to wait when we contacted them to get the update.

Got it! I contacted the local police station, they said they have sent it on 20th January and asked to wait till 28th January, not sure how that waiting time was decided though.

My passport status on consulate website says Passport has been printed and on BLS it says in transit from Consulate to BLS.
Few Questions-
Are passports printed in Toronto Consulate?
Can we pick from consulate and if not can we pick it from BLS even if I have paid for shipping to my home address?

I have urgent travel coming up and need passport urgently avoiding and delays in shipment. Please help.
