Anyone?? Purolator guy need any signature while delivery of pCC? I am expecting it on tomorrow but I will not be at home during it? Is he gonna leave it in my Post Box like other letters? Or how
This status "PCC needs to be collected from the Regional Passport Office" means applicant's application is successfully processed at respective RPO jurisdiction, and they have completed their formalities from their side to issue PCC to applicant. Since it is an outside application, and hence this status meant for embassy folks to go ahead and print the pcc letter and send it to bls. With this new guidelines, embassy here is simply acting as a postman to send your docs to psk thru online, and wait for them to process. Once they complete and provide green signal status which is "PCC needs to be collected from the Regional Passport Office" its upto embassy folks when they go and generate pcc letter physically and send it to another postman i.e. bls in this entire cumbersome process.
If you have urgency then you can send email with evidence consulate may expedite your case ..again completely upto them. This was told to me by bls customer care. I applied on may 20 and expecting my pcc in next 2 weeks.

I am also at the same page, status was updated at PSK website on 23rd june that PCC needs to be collected from the Regional Passport Office. After that there is no update. Could you please let me know where they will update PCC grant and print status. Is it on PSK or BLS Tracker?

I noticed based on my case and wife's application as well as compared with few other folks posted their timelines that consulate first give priority to application which was received earlier by Consulate. It may happen that PV for applications received later may complete first than ones which are older. but when it comes to print and send pcc letter consulate is considering application reciept date and not based on when PV was completed or when PSK updates status to PCC needs to be collected from the Regional Passport Office.

In the form it is clearly mentioned permanent address. As we know this address is nothing but your parent's native address where in case of any emergency govt authority can reach out to your family members. It's not necessarily to be the address where you lived. However, some police men asks for address proof of the candidate, as they do not know about this new pcc guidelines for outside india applications. I gave my parent's native place address where I have not lived in last 15 yrs. In my case police asked for the proof and luckily I had that. Idealy they are not supposed to look for address proof, but I cannot blame them completely. our external affairs has responsibility to update and make all police stations aware of this new guidelines for outside application. But we all know how these things are managed especially in non metro cities. I would suggest you to call your police station and deal with them politely
Thanks for your detail explanation. Even I haven't lived in my permanent address from past 20 years and I don't have any proof with that address. I need to wait and see what will happen. If any one had the same situation and completed their PV please share your experience.
