India PCC from Toronto

What does this mean ?

​ PCC needs to be collected from the Regional Passport Office.

I applied thru BLS on 25th May and it seems to be like I am lost, consulate is not responding on the phone

The status need be changed to granted and then printed. After that it will go to.BLS

Not sure who is granting though but printing is at CGI.

Sometimes police ask address proof of the applicant. It happened to me luckily i had govt bank passbook of the address i gave in the form. Pls consider all aspects before giving address. Needless to say how things work in india.

What is the timeline of when your application shows up on BLS Tracking? BLS received my application on June 17, 2020 and on their website it says 'no record found'. I sent it to BLS Ottawa but I think the timelines will be similar to Toronto.

They don't pick up phone and now they have started to ignore my polite emails asking for an update. Never came across such an unprofessional company ever.

I think, most of people applied via BLS and did a big mistake..... so please share the procedure for the same and which will be helpful for a lot of people.

which means your application is lying in some of the 1000s of other application in a pile where they apply covid measures not to touch any applications for a week... and according their standards, 1 week is as good as 3 weeks which is my case when i sent it to toronto one. they bullshit a lot and even when they answer they simply say "System is not working we cannot do anything right now" Which is an escaping answer... indian authorities will atleast do it better these ass farts sitting at BLS and Consulates....

Do you guys know if an application changed to granted status, how long does it take to get in to printed status and then get it out to BLS from embassy ?

Hi guys I’m doing my process from Toronto. We just got ITA on June 24th. We have
Immigration lawyers and they are pretty slow with giving us information and telling us what to do, so my spouse is wanting us to start our police checks by ourselves. Does anyone know if the immigration lawyer does the police check paperwork FOR you or we have to do it ourselves.

My PCC timeline:
BLS Surrey
Application Mailed on 3rd June 2020
Application Delivered to BLS : 4th June 2020
BLS email (Application received) : 10th June 2020
CGI received the application : 12th June 2020 (Status : Processing at consulate general)
Got email from passport.admin that police verification request is sent to police station in India: 13th June 2020
PV done on 19th June 2020
Status on Passport Seva updated from “pcc under review to ready for collection” on 24th June 2020
Status changed from “pcc ready for collection to printed successfully” on 25th June 2020
Status on BLS changed from “under processing at consulate general to in transit from consulate general to BLS” today on 25th June 2020.

Hi do they visit for Pv or do they just call. I put my passport address which is different from current address. Tho passport address is my grandmother house.

You have to send someone to the police station to get your PV done as I envisages that they will not call and come to your place anytime soon.

Police verification these days taking almost two months. I suggest you to start immediately and its not such complex applications process but its taking lot of process time during the pandemic

My situation is also same. My passport address and Aadhar address is same. But application address is my friends address as my parents moved to other state. Is it going to be any problem?
