I received this message today, but I can't see any update on my GC key. is it normal? When do the counterfoil message appear on GC key?

Yes it happens with VFS communication nowadays. Two times I received the notification after the actual move. Not everyone receives the same day notification.

Normally 4-14 days. Only on rare occasions it go past 10 days, but the process seems to get faster nowadays.

Yeah, you are right. It appeared later on. Now the passport is handed over to courier. Total time spend on IRCC under processing, 4 days. I never received my AWB, I can use VFS tracking ID as ref no, right? Until now tracking site says no record, I guess I have to wait till the package starts moving?

Yes, Only when its moving, so practically on the day you get it you see the passport movement details, so not much use. And also the SMS service is money wasted. When opt for it when the mails have the same content. Taking everyone for a ride.....

True sms service is a literal garbage. I have seen somewhere before that if not opt in for it, we would not get any updates on our application whatsoever. So I was afraid and selected the option. Anyway now it is late to realize that money for a day's meal is drained in the sewage.

Btw how much hours it took for you to receive your POE letter after counterfoil generated?

Yeah, hope so.. My classes will start on 7th September. I just wonder if we can travel after 7th September? Or will it create any problem at airport or immigration

It shouldn't be an issue. You should be enrolled for the fall term classes at the time of travel tho.

I got enrolled for fall'21 last week and have also received my timetable/ enrollment letter from college.

mine also start from sept 7 and if i dont get an update on my passport on monday, the 16th, then i am planning to travel in first week of september simply because of flight prices and more routes availability. spoke with my college they said that it wont be a major issue if i miss the first week in-person classes (7 to 10 sept).

My college is Conestoga-Guelph campus. I dropped 3-4 emails to college and they suggested to speak with respective professors about my situation. Awaiting for professors list to be displayed
