Hi
Does anyone know if I'm still eligible for CERB after my work permit expires on May 11, while waiting for the decision of the visitor visa?
On my CERB profile, it indicates that my next CERB bi-weekly report (from May 9th to 22nd) will be May 23rd.
However, I will be in the implied status waiting for the approval of the visitor visa since my work permit expires on May 11.
Am I supposed to continue my bi-weekly report?
And does it have anything to do with the amount of EI insurance? Because I have 54,000 CAD EI Insurance in my 2019 Tax year.
I sent an email to CRA and didn't get any response.
Thank you very much.

No, you will not qualify for any benefit because you will only have Implied Status as a visitor.

My work permit ends on Dec 10. Any info on how soon should I apply for change of status to Visitor visa, and can I do so from within Canada?
You can change right before your WP expires. Would give your a day or two and not do it a few hours before your WP expires.
